Afreximbank has granted around $12.8 billion to Egyptian banks and companies in the past 3 years with $9.5 billion injected into local banks such as Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt

Egypt is hosting the summit for the third session, with the presence of Benedict Orma, President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim Bank), and representatives of the African Union
The event serves as a conduit for businesses to access an integrated African market of over 1.3 billion individuals and a GDP exceeding $3.5 trillion
It is anticipated that the fair will facilitate trade and investment agreements worth $43 billion.
